Step 1: Create Two Price Lists
Go to Sales → Products → Pricelists and create:
1.1. Price list in dollars:
- Name: Dollar
- Currency: USD
- Add rules with prices in dollars

1.2. Price list in hryvnias:
- Name: Hryvnia
- Currency: UAH
- Select "Dollar" as the base price list
- Discount: 0%

Step 2: Set the Default Price List for a Partner
- Go to Contacts
- Select a partner or create a new one
- On the Sales & Purchase tab, in the Pricelist field, select Hryvnia

When creating a new partner, Odoo sets the first price list in the system as the default. You can change the order of price lists simply by dragging them with your mouse.
Step 3: Verify in the Sales Order
Now, when creating a sales order, Odoo:
- Takes the price list from the partner (UAH)
- Calculates prices based on the USD price list + the current exchange rate
- Displays the already converted price in hryvnias

Step 4: Update the Exchange Rate
Go to Invoicing → Configuration → Currencies:
- Select the USD currency
- Click "Edit"
- Enter the current rate in the Rate field
- Save

Summary
🔹 The USD price is stored as the base 🔹 Odoo automatically calculates the hryvnia price based on the exchange rate 🔹 When creating a sales order, the price list is taken from the partner 🔹 If the price list is in hryvnias, you'll get the current price in hryvnias
This is convenient, transparent, and doesn't require double price entry.
